Ohio

Ohio needs to demand recount. There is a huge difference between the exit poll numbers from there and the counted votes. Remember that Ohio uses Diebold's voting machines. You remember Diebold. They're the company who promised to deliver Ohio's votes to Bush in this election.

THEY FUCKING PROMISED AHEAD OF TIME THAT BUSH WOULD WIN OHIO.

Know what I'm saying?

A few months back, the president of that company promised, very publicly, that Diebold would help deliver all of Ohio's electoral votes to the president. He was very clear about it, and heavily criticized.

Exit poll numbers for Ohio showed Kerry ahead by a few percent. Diebold's numbers show otherwise.

Not true. In many states, the idiots have spoken loud and clear. At the end of the day, there's nothing we can do about the fact that most voters are uninformed, bigoted, and willing to thrust their religious beliefs upon the rest of us. But, Ohio is very suspicious.

that particular instance is ass, but there are other just-as-ass instances in other states. look it up. recount.

i'm not arguing that the general populace aren't a buncha ignernt buffoons, because they are. i'm just sayin' there's more fraud afoot.

I don't really see much calling of bullshit in other places... I don't really see it at all... I'm just calling it on Ohio because of the voting machine thing.

Being close is one thing, but being close and people calling fraud is another.

i'd love to believe it, but there won't be a recount unless the disparity gets a lot closer. the exit polls were off in just about every state. the statistical modeling wasn't even close to accurate.

of course, with diebold voting machines, there can be no recount because there's no paper trail. ah, america :(

Guys, have you forgotten that OTHER election that was hijacked in Florida 4 years ago?

Fact is, the GOP has figured out that you can't rely on the voters to perpetuate their party, so they've studied hard and mastered the art of stealing the contest.

We have only ourselves to blame. How many of those 18s to 29s woke up Tuesday, briefly contemplated the significance of the day, then fell right back into bed? Obviously, way too many.

Don't blame Diebold. Blame all those people whose commitment to helping effect change lasted -- ohhhh -- about a day.

And you know what? It isn't going to get better. In four years, we'll be singing the same song, and Canada will look even better.

So who are all those people who put W back in the W House? Look around you. Look in the mirror. By not voting, you did.

"Nuff said.
