Whiskey Club tonight

I'm going, cause I like the booze.

Wednesday Night, March 22nd, 2006
6:30 - 8:30 pm

You are invited to the second official meeting of
Mr. Smith's Whiskey Club.

This Month features a new trio of Whiskys from a new producer, Jon, Mark and Robbo's Easy Drinking Whisky.

Special Guest speaker David Robertson, Master Distiller.

A little history on the founders:
It all started with Jon and Mark heading out for a post-Christmas walk in 2002. As they wandered up Glen Bruar and the nearby Munro, they started chatting. The chat got more and more animated as the conversation turned to whisky. Both of them loved whisky, but hated all the waffle and reverence that always seemed to get in the way of enjoying a glass. They decided their world 'needed' a whisky that removed all the waffle, tasted amazing and was for them, not some 80 year old Laird. Some weeks later, they met up with Robbo (aka David Robertson, who happened to be the Master Distiller at The Macallan). They talked him through their idea, he loved it and agreed to help them out, creating three new whiskies that he thought they (and importantly he) would love.
Eventually they arrived at three whiskies they all loved, (and which you will be tasting) The Smooth Sweeter One, The Smokey Peaty One and The Rich Spicy One.
Please join us and let us know which one is your favorite.

The cost of this event is $10 per person at the door.

Please respond to events@maximumproductions.com with your first and last name if you plan to attend.
And feel free to invite others who would be interested in joining us.

Let me know how that Smokey Peaty One (sounds like a moniker of a second rate cartoon gangster) goes down. It sounds dee-lish to me.
