It had to happen eventually. I've been spending so much time in the garage working on bikes lately that my lack of organized tool storage finally drove me crazy. I found myself at Sears today to purchase a simple $6 socket (35mm, for two gigantic nuts [heh... gigantic nuts]) and ended up tossing out another $400 for this combo. The ball bearing drawers drove the price up quite a bit, but they're worth it. I also couldn't get out of there without a set of metric ratchet gear wrenches. They are going to improve my life... I'm sure of it.

How have you survived without this for so long?

These are great. Every garage should have one.

Man oh man. I have no idea how I lived this long without it. I guess I sort of resisted getting one because it's one more thing that will need to be housed if and when I move again. It's so worth it, though.

I eyeball those things every time I walk through Sears. Even go so far as to open and close a couple drawers like I was testing them for something. My GF is really great about humoring me, too - doesn't make fun of me when I do the same thing over and over, knowing full well I'm not taking this thing home.
