I hate that guy!

Someone please look at this and give me a good reason why I shouldn't send uncle Joey over to Nader's house to break his frikkin' head.

1) that poll's just wrong - he got ~4% in most states in 2000. i just don't believe that he's suddenly become more popular. +/- 3.5% error margin says something, too.

2) without the green party behind him, he won't actually be on the ballot in most states.

that said, i'm in favor of the skull-breaking plan. the egomaniac needs to go away.

makes a good headline
Here's the question that was asked

If the election for president were held today and the candidates were George W. Bush, the Republican, and John Kerry, the Democrat, and Ralph Nader, the independent, for whom would you vote? Do you lean more toward Kerry or Bush or Nader?

And their answer:

Bush (with leaners): 46 percent
Kerry (with leaners): 45 percent
Nader (with leaners): 6 percent
Not sure: 2 percent

If you look at this, the poll is all off. First, only 2% undecided? Nine months BEFORE the election? Are we polling the same country? That is a total tip-off that something is wrong.

Next, if you look at the question, it says Nader "the independent." I bet if they asked the question and just used names, without the independent part, Nader would get close to nil. All those people are voting for the independent, or actually undecided, and I wouldn't take that as sure votes for Nader.

Sure makes a good headline however...
