A god damned KISS concert!

Good times. I'm DJing a wedding tomorrow and decided to pick up a little extra firepower:

For the uninitiated:
1. Set of two 400 watt mega speakers (built in P.A.)
2. Turntables
3. Laptop, with wi-fi, for mp3's and tracks from Rhapsody. I can pretty much fill any request that comes in.
4. Dual Pioneer CD players
5. 8 channel mixer
6. My beloved 45s
7. Various CDs, including a bunch of stuff the bride wants me to play
8. Purple bubble-blowing monkey.

Needless to say, I had to set it all up in the dining room (Susie hasn't seen it yet) so I could test it all out. This place was fuckin' bumpin', yo.

I'm sorry... I can't hear you over the thousands of sweaty dancers that have amassed in my living room.

Sweet dude! There's nothing like a nice gig to give you the kick in the pants needed to turn your pad into the rip-roarin' nightclub it was destined to be. Personally, I'd move that stuff to the basement, get a fog machine, some of Simon's christmas tree lights, and call it the Nite Klub...

Settle down there, mister. Pretty much the whole operation is either loaned or rented. I wish I could lay the cash down to get those speakers though. Aside from the fact that I can barely lift them, they totally kick ass.

Damn, I thought it was going to be "dance dance revolution" in your basement the next time I came up!

Very nice set up. I like the fact that the speakers have built in amps, though you're right they're really heavy.
All I can say is that I wish I had the laptop when we were djing. We always had a hard time with off the wall requests.
