Seattle: Year of the Monkey ride Thursday Night

That's right, y'all. Thursday is Chinese New Year and so begins the Year of the Monkey. Personally, I thought EVERY year was Year of the Monkey, but this time it's official.

Anyway, your beloved Emerald City Flying Monkeys will be celebrating the honor of our very own year and would like you all to join us. Here's the itinerary:

6pm - Meet up at the Seattle Asian Art Museum (Volunteer Park - 1400 East Prospect Street). Go early if you want to tour the museum ($3 suggested donation) because....

6:30pm - Ride to the International District to Top Gun Seafood Restaurant (668 S King St)... the best Chinese restaurant in Seattle. Someone remind me to call them before we leave and tell them how many of us are coming.

Somewhere between 8 and 9pm - Ride to the Rickshaw Restaurant and Lounge (322 North 105th) for some of the weirdest karaoke you'll find.

ALTERNATE PLAN: If it's raining, we'll instead go to Bush Garden (which I realize is a Japanese restaurant) instead of the Rickshaw for karaoke. Bush Garden is at 614 Maynard Avenue South.

Hope to see you Thursday!
