New music kinda sux

I just went through a list of over 12,000 albums that were added to Rhapsody in 2005 so I could submit my "Best of 2005". It took forever and I just barely squeaked out 15 out of those 12,000 that were worthy of the list. This wasn't me wasting time, by the way. It was for work. Anyway, here's what I came up with:

1. Groovie Ghoulies - Monster Party
2. Bloc Party - Silent Alarm
3. OK Go - Oh No
4. Madness - Best of / 20th Century
5. The Epoxies - Stop the Future
6. Dane Cook - Retaliation
7. Richard Cheese - Aperitif for Destruction
8. Morrissey - Live @ Earls Court
9. The White Stripes - Get Behind Me Satan
10. Weezer - Make Believe
11. Elvis Costello - The Delivery Man
12. 7 Seconds - Take It Back, Take It On, Take It Over
13. Depeche Mode - Playing the Angel
14. Hot Hot Heat - Elevator
15. Neil Diamond - 12 Songs.

I make no apologies for these choices, so don't hassle me.

Orange alert

Not much action today...

I woke up this morning and noticed that I had a voicemail on my phone. I listened and found it was left at 2:30 this morning. It said:

"Hi Steve. This is Jake, your ex-assassin. I was eliminated this evening, but I had such fun stalking you that I was wondering if you want to get a celebratory beer. Give me a call. My number is ......."

Uhhhhh huh.

Went to lunch today at a Mexican place known to be frequented by Macromedia employees, hoping for the good fortune of catching my target. No such luck and it really was a risk walking four blocks off the safe zone.

After work, I decided to check out the BART station where I figured my target would either walk home from or transfer to the bus. I hung around for about an hour, with no sighting. This dude is going to be really hard to get. Still looking for good ways to lure him outside.

While I was stalking, I guess someone came and rang our doorbell. Perhaps my attacker was hoping I'd just buzz them in and invite them in for tea.
