On Vox: $980 later... bike is running so well now! It rides so smoothly and all its weirdo noises are gone! It was worth the money to get it set up how it should be. Now that I know how it should sound and how it should feel and how the chain should feel, I can do a better job of keeping it like that, and I'll know when it needs to be looked at again. Lesson learned: don't ignore strange things on bike.

I need to find some good vehicle maintenance schedule software. I have way too many vehicles to be trying to keep straight which ones are due for what... especially considering that this one requires some chain attention every few hundred miles. As Katra would say: Constant Motherfucking Vigilance.
