Just testing out e-mail post from my new phone. I think the camera on this thing is better but the keyboard kind of blows.

I wouldn't be caught dead with a freakin' blackberry.

It's a QTEK 9090. By the way, there's a new guy coming out you might like. Google you up the QTEK Jam. It's a full Pocket PC phone packed in to about the same size as an iPod.

Dont want to geek too far out, but I have to say, if danger got their asses in gear and put out a bluetooth, slimmer hiptop without that kiddie fucking bullshit interface, (maybe symbianOS), I would be all over that shit. I love the X-Wing 1980s industrial design on it. Maybe i'm a gigantic idiot, (hell, I know I am) but i'd use it, since all I do on my mobile is SMS all fucking day.

Yeah... Danger's stuff is cool, but Symbian OS is crap. It's nearly impossible to develop against. Shit crashes left and right. The PocketPC OS is getting better and better and the devices are getting cooler. The one I have now has bluetooth, quad band GPRS, and wi-fi. It's no fatter than the iPod, yet it has a full keyboard that slides out. If you don't want to use that, it has four other input modes, including the most kickass handwriting recognition I've seen. I can SMS on that thing as fast as I can handwrite. Plus, it's got MSN messenger built in, so I can use that on the bus and appear to be at work. With the product that I work on, e-mail, calendar, and contacts are fully synced in real time over the air.

Plus, I put Bejeweled 2 on it.

Oh, and it's got Windows Media Player built in as well. I can run movies (either ripped from DVD or downloaded) through a converter and end up with 150 meg files perfectly formatted for my phone's screen. I usually stick four or five of them plus some music on the 1 gig SD card that I bought. With a $1.50 adapter from Radio Shack, I can plug in good headphones and I'm good to go with movies and music on the plane. Awwww yeah.

Man I wish I could get my hands on wireless tech on a regular basis like you.
