Started the new job today. It seems pretty cool so far. The benefits are really good, there are beer taps (two different kinds even) in the kitchen, and they gave Dude a bitchin' laptop. I think I'll like it there. I'm going to be leading a very gigantic project, which will be a ton of work, but it is a gigantic awesome project, so it'll be fun. I will be required by my job to test MP3 players and various music store features. That rules.

This weekend was all about the ride. Saturday I rode around the Marin headlands and found some of the old roads that Bay Area friends have taken me on in the past. I love the one way tunnel and the crazy one way windy road of doom.

Sunday I rode out to the east bay and went to the all Italian car/motorcycle show in Alameda. The east bay scooter people are really cool and friendly and fun to hang out with. I think I'll be going to some of their rides and meetings and stuff in the future. Riding across the bridge super sucked... there was no traffic, which means that everyone was going hella fast. Plus, I was riding in to the sun early in the morning and at dusk, so I was blinded and freaked. Also, I got totally lost on my way to the on-ramp I was going to use, and found myself in some of the scariest neighborhoods in Oakland you can imagine. I'm glad I hit the bridge before it got dark!

Well... that's all I got for right now, I guess. Catch you later.

Were you cruising Shadduck (sp?)? That street creeps me out.

My garage is cleaned and waiting for your baby.

That sounds so dirty. My baby still needs me to do a little work on it. Hopefully I can get it wrapped up this weekend, then we'll figure out the logistics of delivery and whatnot.

I'm pretty broke from paying two rents this month, but the savings should stack up pretty soon. Don't rush it. I still need to go to motorcycle school.

You'll have to give me the whole run-down. Glad you came over, it was a good time, that's for sure...

I wish they had beer taps (with beer in them) at my job... Sadly, they do not. Hell, they don't even have a water-cooler.
