Lost is killing me

Susie and I dug in to the final DVD of Season One of Lost this weekend. We watched one episode on Friday night, and then last night - the remaining three. In a row. And one of them was two hours! That's how freakin' addicted we've gotten to Lost. It was 1:30 in the morning by the time we rolled through the finale, knowing full well that if we didn't watch something goofy for a while right afterwards instead of going to bed right away, we'd have fucked up frightening Lost dreams that would cause us to keep each other up for the little that remained of the night.

I'm not going to give anything away for those who haven't seen it, but are planning to. I'm just gonna say this about the season finale: holy crap! I didn't see that coming! There were several times during the episode that I jumped. Of course there are a lot of things hanging and now I need to get my hands on all the episodes (so far) of Season Two so that I can feed the monkey on my back. I've already downloaded the first two, and hopefully by the time we get around to watching those I'll get have a few more queued up. My hope is to get completely caught up in time for the Season Two finale.

I have no idea how I'm going to survive when I have to wait a week between episodes.

Yea, I just got in to it a few months ago, and inhaled the first season super-fast like you guys did.

Now I wait around in pain each week for my fix. It is especially bad when they need a few extra weeks to sync up the shooting schedule.

I hate that the show has turned me in to one of "those people" that actually care about catching a show when it airs. I hate myself for saying "oh shit, it's lost night, I gotta get home!".

Nah, fuck it. Lost is worth ti.

We did the same thing about half way through the first season (downloaded eps) and it was TERRIBLE having to wait a week between eps and then the WHOLE SUMMER. What a fantastic show.
