Legends of the Motorcycle

purple_b and I rode down to Half Moon Bay for the Legends of the Motorcycle show at the Ritz Carlton. It was really incredible. I don't know if it was worth the $65 admission, but it doesn't matter, because we got in for free. Paul had one extra ticket, as an exhibitor, and he found an additional one before we got there. So that ruled.

Inside, we found the cigar and cognac bar. I brought home six free Cohibas and we drank some free Hennessy. Niiiiice. I had some free beer, too. Once we had our fill of free shit, it was on to the motorcycles, and boy were there some awesome bikes.

We saw some crazy antique bikes, steam powered bikes, a crazy tandem moped, the oldest BMW in existence, Elvis' Honda Dream, tons of great 60s and 70s bikes, a couple of scooters, and one wacky ass trike, built in 1900. Suh-weet.

I'm too lazy to link all my Flickr pictures over to LJ, so just go here and check them out.
