Re: are you trying to talk me out of it?
Ok.. so here's the thing with the CreamCycle. It's never going to be useful as a fun scooter unless you swap the motor somehow, which means putting a bunch more money and time into it. At the end, it's still going to look and handle the same, but it'll run better.

I'm not going to try to talk you out of this, because I know you're sick of the bike and probably don't want to go to the time and expense of fixing it anymore. But, I want to make sure that you're absolutely sure you want to sell it to me for $200, because I'm probably going to end up doing the aforementioned work over the course of a couple months and then selling it for a lot more than $200...

As far as if you're ripping yourself off, I guess that's subjective. If you tried, you could probably find someone willing to give you more than $200 for it, and I would be totally cool with you doing that.

But, if you just wanna get rid of it quick, then I'll take it and give you $200... and one Goonies DVD :)

Now then... To get your ass back on a scooter, I want you to go down to Ducati Seattle and tell them to show you a Stella. You will notice that the body is exactly that of your bike, but it has amazing technological improvements and is pretty solid. These bikes were designed by and built for American scooterists. Highly recommended... Ducati Seattle will finance it. Go go go.

While you're there, see if they'll take your P200 in trade... Can't hurt to ask.
