Please fucking explain...

There's this:

and this:

and yet, this:
http://www.salon.com/news/wire/2003/06/11/bush_poll/index.html

Holy fuck. Can someone please explain to me what this man's appeal is? Why do people support him still? Because he went to Iraq and protected us against a threat that is proving to have never been there?? Even if the war had proven to be a valid and necessary protection of American people, the guy has still fucked the majority of this country over in so many ways. Are the 2.7 million people who've lost their jobs gonna vote for him? Are the millions who are getting their Medicare and Social Security blown out their ass gonna vote for him? How about the people who are having children that are gonna be royally fucked up the ass when they grow up and have to pay for this tax cut he just signed so they can have an extra few hundred bucks right now? WHO THE FUCK CAN ACTUALLY NAME SOMETHING GOOD HE'S DONE?

And don't even mention the Middle East. You're going to see him involved for a couple more weeks to keep the critics at bay, and then, rather quietly, it'll be back to business as usual. Turd.

If he gets re-elected, I'm moving to Ecotopia

ecotopia?
You know when you move to Ecotopia they will crush your scooters, bikes and truck into little cubes and use them for artificial reefs or as bricks in the hemp hammock factory, right? In college I practically majored in Ecotopia until Ayn Rand kicked my ass and stole my lunch money.

Re: ecotopia?
Yeah... I guess it's not really the environmental aspect of Ecotopia that appeals to me. It's the part where the northwest secedes from the union. There's a huge part of the population of this country that I really don't want to be affiliated with anymore.

It's still early
I know I should be panicing, but I have to keep telling myself... it's still early. The Dem's are not out there yet. Please oh please let them get someone who can kick Bush's ass. There's still time for Bush to fuck up even more. There's still time for the Dem's to bash him about it. Something might happen. Please...

Yeah... I'd like to think that too, but if all this stupidity hasn't caused him to kick his own ass already, then what chance has whatever lame-ass candidate (and, at this point, the candidate is bound to be a lame-ass) the Democrats talk in to running?

The fact is, you talk like a friendly good ol' boy, using small and easy to swallow words, about how sympathetic you are to Joe Sixpack and his poor (but not too poor) little family and people apparently EAT THAT SHIT UP.

Yeah, Mr. Silver Spoon Texas business mogul! Tell me again about that fancy ass DVD player you're gonna git me! I can't wait to vote yer ass back in there. Give 'em hell, Dubya!
